We enjoyed a guided tour of Tidworth Garrison Theatre with Mr Tony Pickernell
Last week Annie and I had the pleasure of a guided tour of Tidworth Garrison Theatre from Mr Tony Pickernell.
It was very interesting and the history of Tidworth kept there is wonderful.
Here are a few pictures of the original show posters from the original garrison theatre which used to be Lowa Road, now where the Royal Welsh are.
Mr Tony Pickernell’s Father & Grandfather ran the original Theatre and Mr Pickernell Senior insisted the history of Tidworth remained in Tidworth.
We count ourselves lucky that the town we call home has such a rich history and people like Mr Pickernell keep the memories alive.
