Tidworth Town Council held The Tidworth Community awards on the 19th Feb 2025!

We had nearly 50 nominations between the 6 categories. Well done to everyone nominated and Congratulations to the winners!

GARRISON COMMANDERS AWARD : ANN BIRCH 

Not only has Ann been an active member of Tidworth Town Council for over 20 years she is also fondly named as the Historian of Tidworth, dedicating time to keeping church records up to date and providing tours of the Mortuary Chapel sharing her wealth of knowledge.

Over the years she has also been a pivotal part of the Woman’s Institute and the Over Sixties group whom during her time as chair has welcomed many new members making it the active vibrant group it now is.

Prior to this Ann had a career as a teacher very much suiting her no nonsense but caring and kind character and love of sharing information.

This award is to acknowledge Ann’s continuing dedication to the town and to thank her for all of her time and support.
