I was a part of the Parish Council back in 1999 for 5 years and re-joined the now Town Council in July 2021. I am Chair of the Engagements Committee who are responsible for providing Council funded events for the Community, including the Community Awards, Community Litter Picks, Remembrance, Easter and Halloween events for children, Open Air Cinema, Mortuary Chapel Open Days, and the Annual Christmas Fayre. I was born in Tidworth and have lived here all my life. I joined the Council because I want to contribute to improving the local community for residents whether military or civilian. I am keen to increase the number and variety of events available to the community now that the Civic Centre has been completed and to ensure inclusivity and best value for all residents.
