I am an Army veteran with 22 years of service. I joined the Army in 1980 and served in Germany, Cyprus, Belize, Canada, Northern Ireland and Bosnia. I left the Army in 2002 and then continued my career working in Apache helicopter maintenance at Middle Wallop, where I worked as a helicopter mechanic for a further 20 years before retiring in 2020. Following on, I worked as a school caretaker at Castle Primary School for eight months. I now enjoy giving back to the community. I volunteer with Stand Easy Veteran, a veterans charity. I also volunteer at Bridgend Alpacas, helping with alpaca walks and general site maintenance. I enjoy keeping active, helping others and staying involved in the local community.
