Apply for a Grant

Tidworth Town Council has budgeted funds each year to help, support and set up local non-profit groups and organisations.

This is known as a Section 137 Grant and it is available to all local groups and organisations that provide activities which benefit the local residents in Tidworth and Perham Down. This budget is limited, therefore funds are on a first come, first served basis.

All groups and organisations must be able to show how residents of Tidworth and Perham Down would benefit from the funds received.

Mayors Charity

The Mayors Charity has been set up to help and support individuals and families within the local community, by helping provide equipment support or financial help to enhance their quality of life where there are no other grants available. Furthermore, to support local organisations which are non-charity statuses to supporting the development of the local community and its’ residents.

The Mayors Charity endeavours to help and support its local members of Tidworth and Perham Down and local organisations to strive within those communities.

The Committee welcomes all applications and will consider all requests, if it is felt that the application does not fit the criteria for the the charity they will do their best to advise of any other support which may be available.

Individuals and groups can apply themselves however if you feel there is a worthy cause you can nominate someone or a group for a donation.
