D-Day 80th Anniversary Celebrations
Wow what a wonderful afternoon we had with Ezra’s – Coffee & Dine. So many smiling faces and some delicious food – thank you Teressa Slater & team! Thank you to Tony for bringing your Jeep and Harley Davidson along, They were a huge hit. Thank you to Anthony Pickernell for lending us some of your garrison theatre memorabilia. And huge thank you to the councillors who gave up their time to decorate and help host the event today. Really enjoyed chatting with all our visitors, especially learning about rationing, evacuees and landgirls in and around Tidworth & Perham Down with all the children.
Finally – THANK YOU to all our veterans, past & present. Your sacrifices will not be forgotten.
