Community Litter Pick - 22nd March 2025
Tidworth Town Council organised a Community Litter Pick in line with The Great British Spring Clean taking place from 21st March to the 6th April.
We had an astounding show of support from the local community for our litter pick.
THANK YOU so much to everyone who came and supported.
We set a goal to beat last year’s collection and boy didn’t we do well!! 66 black bags of rubbish collected!!
It’s wonderful that we have cleared away so much rubbish but sadly there is still more around. The optimist in me wants to say it’s down to the environmental factor of strong winds knocking over bins but…. hopefully we can spread awareness and community spirit to help reduce the littering.
You can still help! We have hoops, grabbers, gloves and Hi-Viz at the Civic Centre for use. Whether it is just one person with a few minutes to spare or an organised group. Let’s get together to make a difference!
