Piling Machinery will arrive and begin work on Tuesday 30th August 2022. This will create excess noise and dust around the area, but this will be limited to normal working hours.

Friday 22nd April, Mayor of Tidworth, C’llr Mark Connolly, had the honour of cutting the turf for the Civic Centre and Community Policing Team hub.

This marks the start of the major building works which has been 10+ years in the planning.

Also in attendance were Danny Kruger MP, the Police and Crime Commissioner Phillip Wilkinson, Superintendent Dave Minty, Cllr’s Humph Jones and Paul Hedge were also there as well as Tim Goodman South West Projects, Andrew Brown Oxford Architects and John Papworth of Neilcott Construction.

Demolition of the community centre has now been set for mid-May and construction will commence in July.
