Catriona Suzanne Woodward
I have lived in Perham Down for a little over three years with my husband, a serving member of the British Army and my two sons, Joshua and Benjamin aged fourteen and six respectively. I have recently set up my own company Woof! Tidworth offering a bespoke canine exercise, enrichment and boarding service reflecting my passion for dogs alongside health and fitness.
I initially qualified as a nurse in 2010 after studying at The University of Brighton and had the privilege of gaining experience in a variety of settings before going on to specialise in older peoples’ medicine. I am an active ambassador for mental health, having been touched personally, and am currently in the process of setting up a local support service for the spouses of serving personnel in collaboration with Rethink Mental Illness, the AWS and other service providers. As the wife of a serving soldier I am a keen advocate for others in a similar situation within the local community and use my experience as a nurse, spouse and mother to support others.
Alongside health promotion I am also passionate about younger people, the environment and social cohesion and am honoured to have the opportunity to represent these areas in an official capacity. As a result of my own experience of chronic illness and learning difficulties I am a keen promoter of equality and diversity. I have many hobbies and interests including running, gardening, photography and spending time with family and friends.
