I often am asked ‘why are you a councillor’ by peers and really, the answer is quite simple – our town is diverse and exciting and our town council reflects this. I love learning from more experienced councillors and in return sharing new ideas. I am very engaged in community projects, from setting up the local pandemic community support to currently working on an environmental project and the local community Homes for Ukraine Scheme. In my free time, I enjoy taking my two dogs to the muddiest places they can find and cooking weird and wonderful dishes from across the globe.
