Job and Careers Fair at TLC

Help Revive your Post - Military Career at the British Forces Resettlement Services Job Fair in Tidworth

It’s never too soon for a serving member of the armed forces to start thinking about their career options when they leave the military.

That’s why the British Forces Resettlement Services (BFRS) will be hosting a job and careers fair at Tidworth Leisure Centre on 15 September where current and ex-servicemen as well as their partners and families can find out more about a host of business and job opportunities in a relaxed informal environment.

Doors open at 9.30am and the event lasts until 2.00pm.

One of the exhibitors will be the UK’s leading vehicle paint repairer Revive!  The franchise offers the opportunity to build a profitable business backed up by top quality ongoing training and business support. The company has several ex-military franchise owners including ex REME soldier Jay Belham whose business is one of the top performing Revive! territories repairing scuffs and scrapes to vehicle bodywork and alloy wheels for car dealerships and members of the public.

With no previous business experience, it made sense for him to look at franchising. He set up Revive! Guildford in 2011 and now runs a fleet of four vans and a workshop.

Jay believes his military background and discipline gives him the confidence to deal with any scenario thrown his way which has been a great asset for life outside the forces.  He said: “The environment in the army was much harder than anything I have to deal with running my business. I learned how to communicate with people at all levels which makes it easy for me to go into big dealerships and interact with customers. ”
