Acvtiv8 passengers raise funds

On Saturday 22 September Stagecoach, who operate 6 buses on the Activ8 service between Salisbury and Andover, offered to donate all fares received at Tidworth and Ludgershall bus stops to support Tedworth House, Help for Heroes’ Recovery Centre. The sum raised was £1072.94, including £46 made in donations in collection tins placed by the ticket machines.

Construction begins

New Development


The first real signs of work starting on the new development in Tidworth began on Monday 17th September as John Reilly Engineering Ltd cut a swath onto the North East Quadrant (NEQ). This will enable to construct a compound from which to work. The Mayor, Chris Franklin MBE, was on site to join in with the start of this major project. The Environmental Agency also attended to ensure that no wildlife came to harm during the process.

C'llr Mark Connolly votes against Council Tax Benefit change

The changes will see some people losing 20% of their benefit and have been forced upon the Council by the Government, who are passing the responsibility (but not all the funding) for the scheme.
